I have been interested in ceramics since I was a child and as a teenager I started to collect ceramics of the Art Deco era, especially the airbrushed ceramics of the '30s of last century. Simultaneously I started to form the first pieces with the technical help of some former workers of the renowned Galvani factory.

Learning from these people was a great opportunity.

My artistic experimentation in the field of ceramics is linked to both shapes and textures; I am very interested in the effects of ceramics and glazes obtained by some Italian artists, such as Guido Gambone and Marcello Fantoni, I have always been attracted by the shapes created by Lucie Rie and Hans Coper; recently I have been interested in the German ceramics of the 60s and 70s, known as Fat Lava ceramics.

My greatest achievement is to be able to create a work that in structure and final appearance is as close as possible to what is envisaged in my mind. In creating ceramic works, in glazing them, in firing them I feel a deep joy, I hope that it will somehow be transmitted to my pieces.
