A new creative energy.
Expressing a concept is always a risk.
The risk is related to language: the same words can have
different meanings for those who say them and for those who hear them.
That is why facts, in the case of a craftsman the works, are preferable
than words and the concepts they are meant to express.
Nevertheless, today, I would like to share with you a creative process:
A transition, or rather...an expansion.
Lately I have been creating pieces that are much more material than my
usual production, much more sculptural pieces, with rough surfaces,
thick, curled; like rock, like earth, like the barks of the
trees and in some cases with some references to the bone formations of the
forest animals.
The tones are dark ones of carbon, anthracite and, at the opposite end, those of ivory,
of cream with, perhaps, some elevation of tone ... extemporaneous supplements ... we’ll see.
I like this creative dimension very much, I will dwell on it a little, without disavowing
the color of the previous pieces.
